Why does LithoChief work better than other products?
LithoChief has been specifically designed to modify the water chemistry to not separate the water molecules under extreme high temperatures. In doing so it also lowers the temperature of the fire to reduce or eliminate any thermal runaway. No other products can do that.
Are Lithium battery fire fumes toxic?
Yes….extremely. The LithoChief can was engineered for the user to be up to 10 feet away from the flame if downwind. This can uses an inert gas as its propellant that cannot ignite or create additional toxic fumes.
Why are lithium battery fires so difficult to put out?
They are a chemical fire that does not require oxygen to burn. Typically they are within a close proximity to other ignitable batteries and create a “thermal runaway” situation
Will my can of LithoChief freeze if I keep it in my boat or car?
One of the unique characteristics of the LithoChief product is that we use an inert gas as propellent. That makes it good for the environment and is non-toxic to use. Also, the additional advantage of using nitrogen is that it has a very high flashpoint and extremely low freezing point.
